Herman Willem Daendels was a governor-general of India-Netherlands in the 36th. He ruled between 1808-1811. At that time the Netherlands is dominated by the French. At the moment it is developing road department in 1808 from Anyer to Panarukan. Most of this road is now a band Pantura (North Beach) which stretches along the north coast of Java.
